Custom Meats first opened in Fairfield, CT in 2017 to highlight the benefits of whole animal butchery.  We are dedicated to working with small, local farmers and ranchers who share our ideals for pastured animals that produce the highest quality meats with superior taste.  We receive whole animals weekly, break them down entirely in house, and hand cut each and every steak.  We handcraft a delicious array of sausages and smoked products and dry-age our steaks for an enhanced flavor for our customers.  We are passionate about introducing our customers to all the cuts of an animal, not just those most commonly found on menus or on grocery store shelves.  Whether you’re a gourmand or a weekend griller, our goal is to provide you with the ideal cut that is customized to your liking.  Nothing pleases us more than seeing our happy customers return. (space space)  Following the great community response we received in Connecticut, we opened our second location in Dallas, Texas in 2022.  We continue to adhere to the same philosophy that resonated with our CT customers and adapt to the tastes and desires of our new community. 

We can customize any order but are limited to the supply of the animals we receive each week.  This is the benefit of whole animal butchery and the difference between us and other markets that receive beef delivered in a box.  We prefer the more natural way… the Custom Meats way.  We are an old school butchery with modern ideals.
